Reviewing Prime Hydration

Unless you’ve been living under a rock then you’ll have heard about these Prime Hydration drinks trending all over social media and people going to absolutely ridiculous lengths to get hold of them including queuing at Asda’s at early times and even paying up to £100 at Wakey Wines.

At first these drinks were like gold and extremely hard to get your hands on. However, after December 2022 I found that they were becoming a much more common occurrence.

As of writing this in February 2023, I have tried 5 flavours which are the main ones in the UK. Therefore, I’m going to rank them from worst to best.

5. Tropical Punch – It literally reminds me of Calpol and I do like Calpol but the taste is a little bit different and I’m not really a fan.

4. Meta Moon – When I tried it at first I really didn’t like it because it had a really acquired taste but I did get over that quite quickly and I do like it.

3. Ice Pop – The actual drink doesn’t have much of a strong taste to it, the aftertaste it leaves in your mouth is much better in my opinion.

2. Blue Raspberry – A lot of people dislike this flavour however, I like it and think it’s a good flavour it would just be nicer if it was stronger though.

1. Lemon Lime – This was the first flavour I had tried and by far I think it’s the best as it will just perfect for me.

Overall, most the Prime drinks aren’t bad but I have only tried what is mainly available in the UK as what they offer in the USA is a lot more. Personally, I think these drinks are alright but I don’t think they deserve all the hype they get and paying the price that they are but good on Wakey Wines for growing their following off PR stunts and Logan Paul & KSI being the face of the drinks when in reality they only own small stakes of the company that makes Prime.
