My visit to fuerteventura barcelo castillo

recently, i stayed at a hotel in fuerteventura with my friend. in this mini blog i will be reviewing my short trip to the place.

when we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very nice and welcoming to us. they escorted us to the bungalow that we were staying in that was located near the beachfront (even wheeling our bags over for us). when we got to the bungalow, it was really clean and there was complementary drinks, toothbrushes, shaving kit and general care kit. the next day we went to the buffet that takes place from 8.30 am -10.30 am. the quality of the food was amazing and there was a wide selection of different breakfast options to choose from. the food was freshly prepared and you could request things such as scrambled or fried eggs. the staff were very polite and there is a bar that is close to the buffet near the boat pier. there is also a pizza place named ‘la perilta’ that is located near the beach. the pizza was one of the nicest ones i had ever eaten. it is cooked fresh upon requesting it. the drinks there also have really nice presentation and taste amazing. when we stayed we paid extra for all inclusive+ and royal level access. this meant that there was a private pool that could be easily accessed. all of the other pools that are located at the hotel are salt water, yet the royal level one is chlorine. if you do not like fresh salt water pools then it is definitely worth the upgrade. the pool was very clean and the sunbeds were very comfortable. with the royal level upgrade, you are able to request beach towels that you can have till the end of your stay to place on the sunbeds. the royal level pool has snacks such as pringles, nuts, sweets and toasties. there is a wide selection of different restaurants such as a thai and mexican that you are able to enjoy if you book them in advance. i believe that the all inclusive+ and royal level is definitely worth the upgrade as the areas seem to be very good but if you are looking for a more affordable holiday, the other parts of the hotel that did not have this upgrades are still just as good.
